Exodus 26:12-13 - Position of the Coverings over The Tent of the Mishkan

Let's take a look now, at how First and Second Covering were positioned over the Tent of the Tabernacle:
Exodus 26:12-13

12 And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle.
On the Western Side of the Mishkan, the First Covering would hang 2 cubits off the ground, and the Second Covering would hang almost all the way to the ground, covering the west side completely.

13 And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.

On the Northern and Southern sides of the Tent, the First Covering would hang 1 cubit off the ground, and the Second Covering would hang almost all the way to the ground, covering North and South sides completely.

This is the South Side of the Tent:

And this is the North Side of the Tent:

NOTE: Coverings loops, hooks and stiches are not shown in those renderings, as I intend to cover it later on, once I get to the appropriate verses of the description.
