Exodus 26:32 - Four Inner Pillars of the Tent of the Mishkan - Part 5

And so the Vail was to be put upon the pillars...

Exodus 26:32
32 And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver.

The pillars were setup at their respective places(see diagram), topped with Caps and connected with Connecting Rods...

Here is a close-up view of the Connecting Rods on the sides of the pillars...

And here is an even closer look at the edge of one of the side Connecting Rods...

As I pointed out in my previous posts, the Vail was wrapping around each Connecting Rod...

The Vail was also connected to the Pillars by the Golden Hooks...
(I'm sorry for such rather unclear rendering, but due to the shear differences in scale between the parts of the Tent, it is very hard to do it with the 3D modeller)
Here is an extreme close-up on one of the hooks, so you can see it better...

And here is how the Vail would look like from the Sanctuary part of the Tent...

And here is the view from the Holy Of Holies(the Ark) part of the the Tent...
(Notice the differences in the images on the fabric as this is an important detail of the Vail)

And here is another view at the Holy Of Holies section of the Tent, so that you may appreciate the reflections...

The sides of the Vail were not connected to the Boards of the Tent for a good reason: this way, it was very easy to open the Holy Of Holies, when it needed to be accessed, by sliding the Vail towards the pillars.

And there you have it - the Vail of the Tent of the Tabernacle!
