**Exodus 26:4-6**and see if we can extract more details that can we can use to reconstruct the Tent of the Mishkan:

4 And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling;

One one joined piece of the First Covering had its loops ON THE EDGE

4 and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.

Whereas another joined piece of the First Covering had its loop IN THE EDGE (בִּשְׂפַ֣ת הַיְרִיעָ֔ה)

Compare the differences between the loops each of the joined pieces of the Covering...

5 Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second;

There were fifty(50) loops on each piece of the Covering. Since the edge of the covering was 28 cubits in length with 50 loops in(or on) it, we can conclude that 50 loops would divide the Covering into 49 segments of equal length. 28 cubits / 49 segments = 4/7th(~0.5714) of a cubit per segment.

However, this would only be true if the loops would have zero length(which is obviously not the case here). Besides, it would be very difficult to measure exact segments of such length.

Thus, if we would assume, that the segments were represented by some rational number, we can see that each segment(the distance between the loops) was 0.5 cubits, as this is the closest rational number.

By multiplying 0.5 cubits * 49 segments we get 24.5 cubits for all segments between the loops. But since the covering was 28 cubits in length, the remaining 3.5 cubits would be allocated for the loops.

Thus, by dividing 3.5 cubits / 50 we get 0.07 cubits to accomodate each loop.

This is, of'course, not a purely mathematical calculation, as we have an equation with two unknown variables. It looks right and logical, however more thorough investigation is needed to justify these numbers.

Here is how the above calculations would look like...

5 that the loops may take hold one of another.

This part of the verse means that the Loops would have to overlap one over another...

Like this...

6 And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold,

Each Clasp would have a form of a cuff button of sorts, round in shape. Each Clasp was 0.07 cubits in diameter, with the middle part being 0.07/1.5=0.046 in diameter.

6 and couple the curtains together with the taches:

The Clasps were put through the Loops...

6 and it shall be one tabernacle.
