THE PLACE is where the TABERNACLE STOOD! Not a temple or Jerusalem!

I wanted to make one very important point about so-called "the place" described in a book of Deuteronomy.

You can find it in Deuteronomy 12:5, 12:14, 12:18, 12:21, 12:26, 14:23-24, etc.

Let's take a look a one of the verses:
YLT Dt 12:5 but unto the place which Jehovah your God doth choose out of all your tribes to put His name there, to His tabernacle ye seek, and thou hast entered thither,
As you can see, "the place" mentioned is referring to the Tabernacle !!! Not some temple or Jerusalem !!!

I've explained it many times before, but I wanted to repeat it again, that Written Torah speaks ONLY about Tabernacle !!!

Basically, what Written Torah is saying is that we are to come and bring our offerings to "the place" out of one of our tribes, where God's presence would manifest itself with a cloud of smoke over the Tabernacle !!! So as you can see, Torah clearly refers to the Tabernacle! And as this verse infers, "the place" can change because Tabernacle was a movable structure.

Our God, Yahuah, is a living God, so He likes to travel just as much as we (humans) do. It is not surprising that the location of the place can change. So it is not temple or Jerusalem, but can be absolutely any place where there are Hebrews.

As Exodus 40:38 states, "for the cloud of Jehovah is on the tabernacle by day, and fire is in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel in all their journeys.", which means that Tabernacle and "the place" would be located where it was needed most, or where children of Israel were. This means that we can rebuild the Tabernacle anywhere where there is a significant population of the Hebrews.

If anything, the last recorded location of the Tabernacle where it was still operational was Shiloh. See Joshua 18:1 for example...

So, always remember, "the place" is where THE TABERNACLE STOOD!!!
NOT A TEMPLE OR JERUSALEM !!!
