Exodus 26:32 - Four Inner Pillars of the Tent of the Mishkan - Part 2

Exodus 26:32

32 And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver.
Now, the pillars were overlayed with Gold, in the same fashion as the Boards of the Tent...

Each pillar was then fitted with several Golden Hooks to help secure the Vail. Logic dictates that each Pillar would have nine(9) hooks - one hook every cubit along its height. However, I'm not certain yet about the quantity of the hooks.

Here is a close-up view of one of the hooks, on one of the pillars...

The hooks were relatively small(~1-3cm), compared to the size of the pillar, making them practicaly unnoticeable from normal distance...

Regardless, these hooks served a purpose of securing the Vail and helping to support its weight. But a further inqury into their precise dimensions and quantity is needed to make any definitive conclusions.
