Exodus 26:36 - The Outer Curtain of the Tent of The Mishkan - The Masach

Exodus 26:36 deals with the Entrance Curtain(The Screen) of the Tent of the Tabernacle.
Lets' take a look...

36 And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.

The Entrance Curtain was made out of the same materials as the Vail(The Parochet) of the Tent...

Here is the view from the top.
As you can see, the Entrance Curtain was also ten(10) cubits by ten(10) cubits, and the same thickness.

Unlike the Vail Curtain that was woven, The Entrance Curtain was embroidered.
The Entrance Curtain did was not decorated with the Cherubims, but instead, had a beautiful ornaments.
Notice the result of the embroidery process - the same patern was on both sides of the Curtain.

Compare the Entrance Curtain above with the Vail(in the image below)

Just like the Vail, the Entrance Curtain would also have a slit in its top edge, so it can be wraped around the Connecting Rods, that would be mounted upon the Pillars...

The specila cutouts were made in the top edge of the Curtain to accomodate the connections between the connecting rods.

Essentialy, the Entrance Curtain would wrap around and mounted upon four(4) Connecting Rods, as I will show in my next posts...
