A simple interpretation of the Ten Commandments.

Here is the simple interpretation of the Ten Commandments.
  1. There is only One God that created Everything.
  2. All other gods are made-up and a product of human imagination
  3. Since One God is real, it is unwise to take His name in vain because He will require the fulfillment of the oath to preserve His perfection.
  4. All humans need 1 day of rest after 6 days of work.
  5. One should consider what one's parents say because they are older, have more experience and they love you and can't do anything to hurt you by definition
  6. Don't murder (no explanation necessary I hope)
  7. Don't commit sexual wrong-doing  (no explanation necessary I hope)
  8. Don't steal  (no explanation necessary I hope)
  9. Don't commit purgery (no explanation necessary I hope)
  10. Don't covet (Grass is NEVER greener on the other side so there is no point to covet what is not yours.)
As you can see, all of these commandments is NOT a religious dogma but rather common sense, logic, and reason.

Most people on earth observe these commandments even if they are not conscientiously aware that these are the commandments of God.

From primitive tribes of Amazon to advanced alien civilizations, these commandments apply to all and most people observe them. This is why Torah is abstract and transcendent.
