Torah is Abstract and Transcendent

As I have described in my previous posts, Torah is much more than just a book, and God is most certainly much more than just the Torah.

For example, let's take "thou shalt not murder" commandment. Is this common sense or a religious dogma?!?

There are billions of habitable planets in our galaxy alone, so if there are advanced civilizations, they most certainly have the same laws about murder. This is what makes the Torah transcendent. All sentient beings should have the same laws throughout the universe.

Also, what is important to understand is that Torah is abstract, meaning that we must follow the abstract Torah and not the corrupted copy that we have. Our copy of the Torah had been extensively edited and changed. Examples like Yom Kippur date show the extent of the editing.

So remember that Torah is abstract and transcendent.
